About Me

My career started as a Trainee Manager and at the age of 19 I was a Customer Service Manager responsible for 110 staff for one of the major food retailers. I fell foul of the usual pitfalls of being a manager. I wanted people to like me and very quickly learned that saying yes to too many holiday requests one Saturday where my checkouts were queued 10 deep and my store manager was cross was an error I would not be making again!


Being a clear line manager, looking people in the eye and having those challenging conversations is a skill I very quickly honed.


In all business people are the best asset they make you proud, Bring success and future business. However on a bad day they can leave you sat at your desk with your head in your hands wanting to tear your hair out.
